Did someone forget to tell the Steelers football season has started? I mean, come on! How can you go from winning the Super Bowl to not winning any games? Yes, I know they lost the Bus and Ben has had a rough couple of months ("experts" now claim he may be suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome or something similar), but still…. Maybe it’s just me, but I think Cowher’s a different coach this year. It’s kind of like he’s won the big one, so now he isn’t as hungry for it. I can understand giving Ben a chance to get it together and letting the guys gel as a team, but when they are consistantly doing this poorly game after game, it’s time to make some changes. Whatever the problem, yesterday was another disappointing loss.

Welcome to my world i.e. The Cleveland Browns world
Count yourself lucky that you have at least a ring and something to shout about instead of hearing the usual and almost standard “we are rebuilding for next year” phrase.
On a serious note, yes it almost seems like when you reach the big stage, you somehow don’t have that hunger anymore. It happened with the 2005 Eagles after they reached the superbowl and then the next season they were dreadful - almost to the point where they were as bad as the Browns! It took them a season to get to grips with playing well again.

Poor Foo! My sympathies on your home team (a bad day as a Steeler fan is better than any day as a Browns fan).

Kower’s in touch with his softer, feminine side this year. He’s making contact with his inner child. We have no hope of a win this year.

It must be by playing the Superbowl at Ford Field the Lions rubbed off on them…if that’s the case, Ugh, you’re in BIG trouble!
