Would You Believe…..

It’s Snow Day number 2.  Actually, it’s more of an ice day.  We are in the "lucky" zone of the big storm blanketing the Northeast that got nailed with freezing rain after the snow.  In fact, we’re still getting it and later there’s more snow coming.  Everything is a solid sheet of ice.  It’s at least an inch thick on my car.  Tim spent over an hour chiseling his truck out enough to drive it this morning.

Oh well, while this is going to put a hurting on my next payday, it could be worse.  We could be among the many without power or worse yet, we could be in Buffalo or Oswego, NY.  Ugh!  I can’t even imagine having to deal with all that snow.

  3. I know. Snow. Sleet. Ugh. And my sister just sent me an e-mail that I wrote to her in July where I promised NEVER to complain about snow again because I was so weary of slogging around in the heat and humidity…..I would love a little bit of that stuff right now…..

  4. After a seven week assault, the past three weeks have been a little snow, a little cold, and then a nice warm-up. This week is no diff; a few inches of snow yesterday and today; tomorrow, highs in the 50s (along with 65 mph wind gusts…LOL)

  6. Schools were closed Tues & Wed here. Tuesday was a complete waste because the snow didn’t actually show up until the school day would’ve been over. MORONS!
Thankfully we didn’t get any of the ice, just fluffy snow!

But I can tell you I am dang tired of these FREEZING temperatures!!! It’s getting old! FAST!

Hope you had a nice Valentines Day. So sorry I haven’t been by in a while….life has been CRAZY!!

  7. Right. Oswego folks must be going nuts. In Boston, where I live, there is a ton of ice everywhere but not that much snow.

  8. We had one, ONE, day of school last week. I’m nuts, I’m so out of practice having kids underfoot day and night. They are cutest when I’m watching them running for the bus. (shame on me)
